About Our Products
Cake Truffles -should be refrigerated and will remain fresh for seven days. Or, they can be stored up to one month in the freezer.
Layer Cakes -should be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days, and up to one month in the freezer. (Cakes should be removed from the refrigerator two hours before serving.) Our cakes are best served at room temperature. Decorate your cake before serving or the night before. Components for the DIY Gluten-Free Black & White Cake can be stored in the refrigerator.
Cake Pops -should be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days, and up to one month in the freezer. You should leave the Cake Pops at room temperature for half an hour before serving.
Cookie Cakes -should be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days, and up to one month in the freezer. Warm your cookie cake slice briefly in the microwave, if desired.
Cookie Kits -should be stored at room temperature for up to four days. For optimal freshness, or to decorate on a specific date, store the cookies in the freezer and the icing jars in the fridge. Place all kit components at room temperature one hour before decorating.
All of our products, including our gluten-free products, are made in a facility that processes the following allergens: wheat, egg, milk, soy. Our kitchen is not certified nut-free nor certified gluten-free.
We offer Gluten-Free Black & White Cake, made with Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free flour.
There are no peanuts or tree nuts in our facility. However, we are not certified nut-free.
Unfortunately, We do not offer vegan products at this time.
No, our products are not certified Kosher.
Orders
We partner with FedEx & UPS to ship our perishables. After you place your order, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation. We ship our desserts as close to your requested delivery date as possible, while also keeping in mind how long the desserts should be in transit (we prefer for desserts not to travel over the weekend with shipping carriers). If for some reason you do not receive tracking information after placing your order, please reach out to us at info@minimelanie.com.
At checkout, you select the date you would like your desserts to be shipped. Orders are shipped Monday through Thursday (only ground and overnight). We do not ship nationwide on Fridays, over the weekend, or on holidays. Orders are generally not delivered on Saturdays or Sundays.
Orders placed by 1:30pm EST will ship on the same date, if the order is placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (depending on where it is going)
We ship your orders with the very best care and highest-quality packaging materials available. The shipping box liners are eco-friendly and made from recycled cotton. The ice packs are plant-based refrigerant gel that is certified biodegradable and home compostable.
If the ice is no longer frozen on arrival, that is ok and means that the ice 'did its job' during transit.
If you’d prefer to pick up your order from us, please place your order via email at info@minimelanie.com If you have purchased a custom cake and would like to pick it up, we’ll work with you to schedule a pick up date.
You can select the delivery date for your order at checkout, up to 30 days in advance. If you are ordering treats for a time-sensitive event, we recommend scheduling your delivery to arrive two or more days ahead of your celebration. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time on the day your order is expected, but most deliveries arrive by 9pm on your scheduled delivery date.
You can write a gift note when you check out within the side cart. There is a designated field labeled "GIft Message." If you prefer to add a handwritten card, this option will pop up as you proceed to "Shipping Date" within the side cart, and you can select a $3 handwritten card.
Oh, no! Please reach out to info@minimelanie.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage, and we will make it right.

Custom Work
Yes, we do offer single piece bulk orders with a purchase minimum. Price per piece varies by piece. Contact us and a member of our team will contact you with additional information.
We can provide samples for custom work. The fee ranges based on the request and begins at $60.

Order custom orders for Corporate Gifts.
You must cancel your custom order with a minimum of seven business days before the order is delivered. Depending on the nature of the order, Mini Melanie may or may not provide a refund. At minimum, there will be a $30 administrative fee for any cancellation plus the cost of any custom materials produced.
Product Guarantee
We are passionate about your experience with our brand and products. Your order will arrive in excellent condition, containing the elegant packaging and quality chocolate customers expect from us. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, simply contact us and our customer service team will rapidly attend to your issue.

We offer virtual baking classes for all occasions with DIY kits shipped in time for the classes.
